The rituals of Hajj include donning the ihram (a simple garment worn by pilgrims); performing the tawaf (circumambulation) around the Kaaba; running between the hills of Safa and Marwa; standing in prayer on the plains of Arafat; and sacrificing an animal as a symbol of Prophet Ibrahim's willingness to sacrifice his son for Allah.
