Ramadan: The Last Ten Nights

The holy month of Ramadan is a time of deep spiritual reflection, fasting, and increased devotion. As Muslims, we are encouraged to emulate the Prophet Muhammad's dedication to worship, particularly during the last ten nights of Ramadan. These nights hold immense significance, with the first of these special nights beginning on the eve of the 21st day of Ramadan, after the completion of the 20th day of fasting.

One of the most profound ways to engage in worship during these nights is by attending Taraweeh prayers. These prayers, offered throughout Ramadan, become even more meaningful during the last ten nights. They provide a sense of community and allow for deeper contemplation of the Quran. For those seeking an even more intense worship experience, additional voluntary prayers are often held later in the night, offering a special closeness to Allah during the final third of the night, a time when Allah is said to be especially responsive to prayers and supplications.
