Muslims believe in the prophets and messengers of God, starting with Adam, then Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them). God’s final message was revealed to Prophet Muhammad, the last prophet sent by God
Allah conveys His message to humanity through prophets and messengers. What was the nature of these messengers and the message they brought? Were they humans with divine attributes? This lesson sheds light on the answers.
Jesus is a figure who is loved and revered by billions of people the world over, yet there is much confusion surrounding the status of this colossal personality. Muslims and Christians both hold Jesus in high regard but view him in very different ways.
The Tawhid that the Messengers called to, and with which the Books were revealed, is of two types: Tawhid al-Ma`rifah wal-Ithbat and Tawhid al-Talab wal-Qasd.

The shallow criteria, such as power and wealth, by which the Quraish judged people barred them from the truth. Had the Qur’an been sent down to one of the chiefs of Quraish, perhaps they might have believed in it.
The disbelievers regarded it as incredible that Allah would send a human messenger. This delusion originated from their inability to appreciate their worth as human beings, and the honor that Allah has conferred upon humankind over His other creatures.
The disbelievers of Quraish tried to implant doubt in the heart of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and his followers by denying his prophethood altogether. They claimed that he (pbuh) was neither a prophet nor a messenger.
